Clear The S#!t Out

Embracing the Autumn Equinox which is about honoring the balance of the light and dark, and feeling gratitude for both the past and future.

As we approach the autumn equinox, I've been reflecting on the themes that have emerged, particularly following the recent full moon and partial lunar eclipse. For myself and my loved ones, the focus has been on cord cutting, clearing soul contracts, eliminating false beliefs, and addressing karmic connections. Before diving deeper, let’s clarify these concepts.

💫 Energetic Cords:

Energetic cords are often described as invisible connections between individuals that facilitate the exchange of energy, emotions, and thoughts. These cords can form through various relationships, creating bonds that can be either positive or negative, depending on their nature. They influence feelings of attachment, dependency, and even conflict.

💫 Karmic Connections:

Karmic connections refer to relationships believed to involve shared past-life experiences or unresolved issues. These connections often evoke intense emotions and lessons that promote personal growth. Essentially, they help individuals work through karma—the consequences of actions from past lives—leading to opportunities for healing and transformation.

💫 Soul Contracts:

Soul contracts are agreements made between souls before they incarnate into physical form. These contracts outline the lessons, challenges, and relationships that individuals are meant to experience in this lifetime. They serve as a framework for personal growth, spiritual development, and fulfilling one’s purpose, guiding our interactions and experiences along the way.

Our minds are incredibly intelligent, often protecting us by blocking out certain memories, events, and even people. This can result in the persistence of energetic cords—connections that tie us to past relationships, friendships, traumas, and emotions. Understanding this, I turned to cord-cutting meditations and exercises as a way to bring these hidden aspects to the surface. I sometimes find myself extending gratitude to my past self while simultaneously clearing out what no longer serves me. I firmly believe in making space for the experiences and relationships we want to invite into our lives.

When we practice surrendering control and allow things to unfold, we often uncover surprising truths. For me, this process revealed lingering connections to a few exes and old friendships that I thought had little energetic impact. Despite the lack of contact, these energetic cords still persisted. I like to think of myself as a surge protector; when these cords are plugged in, they draw energy from me. Many underestimate their power—remember, you are a source of light that people can’t help but be drawn to.

The experience of cutting these cords, eliminating contracts, and sending others their energy back to them is truly transformative. Once you release their energy and reclaim your own, you may notice significant shifts. It’s fascinating how, shortly after this practice, many of these individuals resurface unexpectedly—whether through phone calls, social media messages, or even appearing in dreams. They can sense the energetic shift, and it’s important to pay attention to who re-emerges in your life.

Think of this practice as a spring cleaning for your energetic body. Clear the clutter to make room for your manifestations to come to fruition.

After all the clearing, canceling, and releasing, remember to send yourself immense love and grace to fill the space you’ve created. Close your eyes and visualize yourself standing in a beautiful garden. Picture your energetic body; wherever you see black or empty spots from the clearing, imagine vibrant flowers blooming in various colors. Smile as you sense the immense love and healing from the Divine/God/Mother Earth/Universe.

After such deep work, you may feel hungry, parched, or in need of rest. Releasing and healing aren’t glamorous, and they aren’t all about love and light. Whatever emotions surface—allow them to be. If memories come up, journal about them if needed. There are no good or bad thoughts or feelings. By allowing things to surface, we can fully feel them, and that’s how we heal—through the process.

I’m proud of you! Until next time!
XoXo,

Journal Prompt:

Reflect on the balance of calling in and releasing in your life. Consider the following: What connections, beliefs, or experiences no longer serve you that you want to release? How can you create space for new opportunities, relationships, or positive energies you wish to invite in? Write about the emotions that arise during this process and visualize what your life looks like once you've released the old and welcomed the new.
