Glamour? Magic?

Welcome back!! Lol So its been a minute right? There has been so much going on energetically and spiritually- transformations and many mini-epiphanies..
Anyway, lets get into MY take on Glamor Magic… It has so many different aspects to it- please keep in mind everyone does their werk differently, take what you would like to implement and leave what you don’t… mmKay?? Coo!

“In a spiritual or esoteric context, glamor magic (sometimes spelled "glamour magic") refers to the use of magical practices or techniques to create an illusion or enhance one's appearance, charm, or influence over others. The term "glamor" originates from the word "grammar," which historically referred to a magical or enchanting spell. Over time, it evolved to mean a spell or charm that could make something appear more attractive, desirable, or fascinating than it really is.”

My take on it is simple: embracing all aspects of yourself and building your confidence makes your inner light shine brighter, and that’s what truly makes you attractive. Of course, there are tools we can use to boost our confidence—things like makeup, skincare, or just putting a little extra effort into how we present ourselves. I was taught that when I’m feeling down or not quite myself, one of the best things I can do is get dressed up. Put on something that makes me feel good, do my hair—yes, even if it’s just for an afternoon tea with myself in my kitchen. When we look good, we tend to feel good.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I definitely have my “bummy” days (trust me, my wife has seen me in plenty of undone moments, lol). But I learned this love of self-expression from my grandmothers, who always made sure they "put that shit on"—though their version of glam was different from mine, that’s where I first found my love for it. It’s about feeling good, no matter what version of yourself you’re presenting that day.

I believe that doing the inner work has to go hand in hand with the outer boosts we use to help elevate ourselves. For me, this often involves rituals that align both the internal and external—things like mirror affirmations. It’s similar to the work we do when embracing our shadow selves, but with a focus on nurturing the light we carry. I also do shower meditations, where I set intentions and say prayers. In those moments, I ask to be shown how to let my light shine fully, and I ask that anything or anyone that dims it be cleared away. I also call back my energy from every person, place, and time, asking that it be refreshed and renewed, while sending others’ energy back to them and wrapping them in it.
I enchant everything—meaning I bless and set intentions over everything I use. For example, I have two body soaps: one for cleansing, releasing, and clearing, and the other to welcome delightful surprises, blessings, and protection. I do the same with my facial cleansers, moisturizers, makeup, lotions, oils, and perfumes. Each product isn’t just for its functional use; it’s also charged with purpose. My jewelry, in particular, is specifically charged for protection. The pieces I wear daily are blessed with intentions for confidence, safety, and grounding, and I make sure to charge them under the moon to amplify their energy.

For me, it’s about creating an intentional space in every aspect of my daily routine, turning the mundane into something sacred and empowering. Whether it’s the simple act of making my morning coffee, taking a quiet walk, or responding to an email, I consciously choose to approach these moments with mindfulness and care. I believe that by infusing intention into everything I do, I not only stay present, but I also create an atmosphere of enchantment, where even the most ordinary moments are transformed into something extraordinary. Life itself becomes a magical act, where glamour magic plays a role in how I experience and shape the world around me. Glamour magic, for me, isn’t just about aesthetics or external appearances; it’s about crafting a world that feels rich with meaning, beauty, and possibility, where every action and item is infused with purpose.

When I add intention to my daily routine, I start to see the objects and rituals around me as enchanted. A favorite mug, for example, isn’t just a vessel for my morning tea; it’s an object that holds the energy I choose to imbue in it—whether through a mindful practice or a specific affirmation. Similarly, lighting a candle or wearing a piece of jewelry becomes an act of glamour magic, a way to bring ritual and purpose into my day. These items, small as they may seem, hold deeper layers of meaning. They aren’t just material objects; they are enchanted tools that help elevate the ordinary into something more profound and magical.

These practices of glamour magic, when woven into the fabric of my daily life, help me stay grounded in the present moment while aligning with my deeper values. They are gentle reminders that life isn’t something to simply experience; it’s something to be created, shaped, and enchanted. In a world that often feels rushed or fragmented, the act of turning ordinary items into enchanted objects gives me a sense of ownership over my surroundings and my energy. It allows me to step into my own power, reclaiming the magic that exists in even the most mundane parts of life, and creating a world that is as beautiful, intentional, and empowering as I choose to make it. By infusing glamour magic into my daily rituals, I am not merely existing—I am actively weaving a life full of purpose, beauty, and enchantment.
I strongly encourage you to try some of these practices for at least two weeks. Sit with yourself and journal how you feel before and after the two weeks-take personal inventory and see how you feel. We are all on a journey-so please be gentle with yourselves!

This weeks recipe is a nerve calming-heart chakra opening tea:
The ingredients nurture both the body and spirit, calming the nervous system and opening the heart chakra. The herbs are known for their ability to reduce stress, ease anxiety, and promote feelings of love, compassion, and healing.
Ingredients:
· 1 tablespoon Chamomile (calming, soothing, reduces anxiety)
· 1 tablespoon Lavender (relaxing, stress-relieving, emotional balance)
· 1 teaspoon Lemon Balm (uplifting, calming, promotes emotional stability)
· 1 teaspoon Rose Petals (heart-opening, healing, soothing to the emotions)
· 1 teaspoon Holy Basil (Tulsi) (adaptogenic, calming, reduces stress and anxiety)
· 1/2 teaspoon Ashwagandha (stress reduction, strengthens the nervous system, grounding)
· 1-2 slices of Fresh Ginger (adds warmth, supports digestion, stimulates circulation)
· 1 tablespoon Raw Honey (optional, for sweetness and added healing properties)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Herbal Blend:
o In a tea infuser or muslin bag, combine the chamomile, lavender, lemon balm, rose petals, holy basil, and ashwagandha. If you don't have a tea infuser, you can use a fine mesh strainer or place the herbs directly into your tea cup and strain them later.
2. Boil the Water:
o Bring about 2 cups of water to a gentle boil in a saucepan or kettle. Remove from heat once it reaches a rolling boil.
3. Add Fresh Ginger:
o While the water is heating, thinly slice the fresh ginger. Once the water is off the heat, add the ginger slices to the water. Let it steep for a minute or two to infuse its warmth and vitality.
4. Steep the Tea:
o Add your herbal blend to the hot water and let it steep for 5-10 minutes. The longer it steeps, the stronger the flavor and healing properties.
5. Strain and Sweeten:
o If you used loose herbs, strain the tea into your favorite mug. Add raw honey to taste if desired—honey not only sweetens but also has soothing, anti-inflammatory properties. Stir gently.
6. Drink Mindfully:
o Sit comfortably and take a few deep, grounding breaths. As you sip the tea, focus on opening your heart—imagine a soft green light (the color of the heart chakra) radiating from your chest, expanding with each breath. Allow the tea’s calming energy to soothe your nerves and bring a sense of peace, self-love, and emotional healing.Additional Tips:
· This tea is perfect for moments when you need to relax, unwind, and center yourself emotionally. It can be especially helpful during times of stress, anxiety, or emotional overload.
· To strengthen the heart chakra, try pairing this tea with heart-opening practices such as deep breathing, meditation, or gentle yoga poses like Camel Pose or Bridge Pose, which help open and balance the heart center.
· For an extra nurturing ritual, light a green candle (the color of the heart chakra) while drinking the tea to align with the energy of love, compassion, and healing.
